FACILITIES & SERVICES THE WHOLE CENTRE IS WI-FI ENABLED Gallery/foyer

the Centre It is available to showcase local art and local artists

This opens out into the:- Community Cafe A place to meet your friends ; relax after activities; wait while children attend activities at the Centre or have a coffee while you access your e-mails. It's a great place for the whole community. See Cafe page for sample menu and opening times.
Conference Facility We have a fantastic conference suite available which comprises of 1 large conference hall with 3 breakout/workshop rooms grouped around the main hall. There is ample space in the foyer for displays and registration. All rooms come fully equipped with white boards and flipcharts. Laptops, screens and projectors are also available. A full catering service is available - see refreshments, catering and equipment The following four rooms make up the conference suite. They are also available to hire separately.
Shropshire This is our biggest room seating up to 175 people . It is an ideal space for conferences; seminars; public meetings; exhibitions and business functions. It is also ideal for entertainment; theatre productions; parties and social gatherings. The room has full disabled access and a hearing loop. There is access to a bar and audio facilities. The premises are fully licenced.
Plowden This is a medium size room perfect for training; meetings; smaller presentations; AGM's etc. It will seat 40-50 people theatre style and around 25-30 comfortably boardroom style.
Kerry This is a smaller formal meeting room suitable for training; interviews and meetings of around 12 people . It is fully equipped with whiteboard and flipchart. Laptop and projector are also available if required.
Clun Another smaller meeting room suitable for training; workshops and meetings of around 10 people. It is also suitable for IT training as it has facilities for 10 laptops.
Churchward IT Suite This fully equipped IT suite has 8 computer stations, internet access and is open to the general public throughout the week unless otherwise booked.
It can also be used either split into two:- Consultation Rooms suitable for interviews ; one-to-one consultations; meetings for up to 4 people and the provision of complementary therapies .... or one Meeting Room opened up to a larger meeting room /workshop space suitable for up to 8 people. Kitchen The Kitchen is a high specification training kitchen which can be hire to provide catering training; cookery demonstration and other food based training.
It can also be privately hired for parties; weddings and other social occasions. Welsh Mountain Sports Hall This is a large (29.5 x 16.5 metres), purpose build sports hall. It is available for a range of sports including basketball; football; netball; hockey and volleyball. It is laid out with 3 badminton courts. It is also a versatile space for exhibitions; theatre and dance.
Wenlock A less formal room suitable for practical usage such as youth activities; art classes and informal group meetings of 15-20 people
Playroom This room is used by the pre-school group (see pre-school page). It is available to hire for creche facilities weekends and school holidays.
Disability access The Centre has full disabled access. Shropshire has a hearing loop fitted
